The third Volvo Art Session at Zurich main station offer live performance of Etam Cru, Daim, Koralie and Supokitch.

From Thursday 6 until Sunday, 9 June 2013, Volvo Switzerland will be transforming Zurich’s main station (HB) into a real street art studio for the third time. Six artists from around the world will paint, spray and shape a Volvo XC60 over and over in a live show.

Here's the trailer by Daim, Master of 3D graffiti from Germany:

The theme of this unusual series of performances is “Designed around you” – which goes hand in hand with Volvo’s slogan. The direct contact with artists, art and its creation is both an experience and an enriching activity at the same time.

Well-known photographer and film-maker Francesco Carrozzini will be documenting the events at the main station and also creating portraits of the artists themselves. His images will be published in a photo book when the project has finished.

The continually changing face of the Volvo XC60 will captured on a high-end camera, which will take a picture of the vehicle every 10 seconds. The Volvo Art Session can therefore also be enjoyed as a cinematic work. The whole art event will be continuously documented at Volvo Art Session.
