Creative melancholy

The Herakut duo sings a sweet melancholy and convey their vision of the world through their art.

They combine a somewhat innocent creativity operating in the world’s decadence and vice. Children tend to humanize animals, Herakut takes a similar journey. Deer, rhinoceros, owls, puppies : these creatures are not here by accident. They sometimes represent flaw, a vice or the allegory of a feeling or idea. Sometimes they keep company to lonely children. Bright colors that fade into darkness. The result is always surprisingly meaningful and lively. Melancholy is definitely a powerful creative fuel for this duo.
