All the street artists present at the exhibition "Art in the streets" at MOCA in Los Angeles are now gathered in a film directed by Alex Stapleton.

From 4/17/11 to 8/8/11 the exhibition "Art in the streets" at MOCA traced the graffiti history from the 1970s until today as a world-renowned art movement . Referring to the major cities with different styles, the exhibition moves on to the Brooklyn Museum from 3/30/12 to 7/8/12.
Fab 5 Freddy, Lee Quinones, Futura 2000, Swoon, Shepard Fairey, Os Gemeos, JR, Revok and Risk among many others, they are all present.

But the event does not end there as this exhibition is followed by a film "Outside In, the story of art in the streets" created by Alex Stapleton, director already known in the movie industry.

This documentary highlights the creative process of the artist, through different visual languages. Outside In also shows their relationship to the law, with the constant instability and the enjoyment of their chosen profession. The film comments the status of the artist, who rose from vandal to recognized artist exhibited in a major museum.

In other words, this film can only bring fun, to insiders and amateur alike. And for the lucky ones who will be in NYC next spring, don't miss it!
