FatCap : Where are you from Ino? Tell us about your city and country.

Ino : I grew up and live in Athens. The capital city of Greece. A country known about its contribution in arts, philosophy and civilisation in the ancient history.

FC : You start painting walls in 2000, tell us about how you discovered and got started in graffiti.

I : I was 15 years old. Graffiti was not so popular those days. There was a girl I wanted to impress and i made graffiti with her name on a central wall. After that, spray can became my best friend.

FC : What was your most adventurous and dangerous graffiti?

I : An interrail trip in Italy that had everything. Sleep on the streets of Rome, endless walking in Milano, checking yards, painting, running, meet people even endangering in Napoli.

FC : What’s the characteristic of a Ino's piece?

I : A plain result. Always attention to detail. Characters, surrealism and visible fatcap touches.

FC : Do you practice other forms of art?

I : Photography and graphic design are things I practice and they are part of my style. I have tried many forms and I won't stop trying. It's a part of the evolution.

FC : How do you feel about the commercialization of street art in recent years?

I : It was a matter of time to happen. Although you cannot buy or sell the freedom of the streets.

FC : What's coming up in the next few months? Show etc…

I : I am working some canvases for the annual exhibition 'Urban Art' in Athens. Also Wiesbaden for the Meeting of Styles, after some days in Berlin and maybe a visit to Eindhoven in June.

FC : Thank you Ino!
